The truth is that there are numerous ways to teach early math; whether these are the specific teaching methods themselves, or the various ways to do long addition and subtraction problems.

Math Anxiety is a growing issue in the United States, as well as other countries. Math anxiety in students can be unintentionally propelled, or even head-started, by teachers. When a teacher is confident, educated, and has explored their options in regards to math, they are less likely to project math anxiety onto students.
